Footlight theatre wizard of oz3/17/2023 ![]() Jim has an MFA in Theater Administration from Yale School of Drama. As a Professor of Theater Arts for over 20 years he has directed plays and musicals at UMass Dartmouth, Massasoit Community College, and over 20 plays here at BSU. Jim began his directing career in Boston where he directed at the Publick Theater, the Open Door Theater, and the Back Alley Theater in addition to many Community Theaters in Eastern Mass. His production of Beckett’s Happy Days with actress Paula Plum won a Boston Phoenix Performance of the Year award. He also recently directed Beauty and the Beast for BSU’s FPAC, which won the Most Hart award in 2016 for outstanding production in New England. Additionally, he studied directing under Simon Curtis and Julia Bardsley through internships at the Royal National Theater and The Royal Court Theaters in London. ![]() JIM QUINN (Cowardly Lion) has a BFA in Theater Studies – Directing from Boston University’s School of Fine Arts. Favorite roles include Underling in The Drowsy Chaperone (PBT), Franz Liebkind in The Producers (PBT) Nathaniel Hawking in the Mrs Hawking series of plays ( ), Trekkie Monster in Avenue Q (The Umbrella), and Buffalo Bill in Silence the Musical (Arts After Dark) to name a few. Jeremiah would like to thank his family and James for the love and his partners at Abbynormal Productions for the endless inspiration. JEREMIAH O’SULLIVAN (Uncle Henry/Guard) is thrilled to be making his Bridgewater State University FPAC debut in The Wizard of Oz. Jeremiah holds a BA in theatre from Dean College and has been performing in the Boston area for the past four years. ![]() Haley also teachers and directs pre-school to 3rd grade students through Theater Plus in Marshfield. Most currently she has been traveling around New England with American Immersion Theater doing interactive Murder Mystery shows. Haley earned her BA in theater at Plymouth State University in 2015 since then Haley has been acting, directing and teaching. HALEY MCKENNEY (Aunt Em/Glinda) is thrilled to be joining the cast of The Wizard of Oz this summer in her first show with FPAC. ![]()
